Summer Classes

The Summer Reading Program is technically over, and what a lot of fun we had! In addition to all of the performers, the last three Thursdays were filled with laughter and learning!

July 31st was our annual Geocaching trek. Our ever helpful Phil Klingler again took a group of children and their parents to Bullis park, where he taught them how to work a GPS system and locate special treasures.

On August 6th we tried something new - a Clowning Around Workshop taught by magician and clown, Ron Cain. The kids learned the basics to juggling, paper air plane flying, making balloon shapes and the proper way to wear the red nose.

Since our theme this summer was "Be Ceative at Your Library", we had MaryJane Wenner bring all of her "stuff" and let everyone who came create Scrap Art.

We hope everyone had as good a summer as we did!!!
