Summer

Well, the story times have ended until summer.  I already miss the kids.  But this will give me and Pam some extra time to work on the summer reading program.  This year's theme is Dream Big - Read!  There's so much we can do with this theme.  I'm personally thinking of all of those plans we make as children with what we want to do when we grow up (or even when we're 10).

We already have lots of things planned:

Weekly story times for all ages
Workshops
Newbery Challenge
Friday movie matinee
Reading with therapy dogs
Coloring and activity sheets for dinky prizes
Special programs with entertainers

This summer we are also planning an adult reading program that will involve a brief book review and bags of prizes!

Registration of all ages for the program will begin on Monday, June 25th.

See you this summer!!
