Children's Programming

We have officially ended our story times for school year.  It is Pam and Kathy's time to organize and get ready for the summer reading program.  One of us is even getting to go on vacation first!

The theme for the summer program is One World, Many Stories.  This gives us the opportunity to explore legends, people and animals from all over the world!  It should be an exciting summer, and we have lots planned.  We have visitors scheduled who will introduce us to puppets, animals and music, plus some very cool workshops.

This summer we are also trying to encourage more of our teens to come to the library with book discussions, book reviews, and even some juggling.

Sign-ups for our program begin Monday, June 27

Thursday Night Crafts

This week we tried something new on our Thursday Craft Night.  We combined the woodworking talent of Dennie Brunner with the painting artistry of Linda Selbert and made beautiful wooden plant stands painted in our own favorite way.

Teen Section

Look at our new Teen display!
So many new books we had to rearrange all the shelves and give them a space of their own!
