Painting
Last week we had a wonderful turnout for our Grapes and Vines painting class. A great time was had by all. And although some found painting the leaves a challenge, the vases all turned out beautiful!
The next painting project with Linda will be Shamrock on Slate.

Girl Scouts Adopt Chapter Books
Girl Scout Troop 201 has adopted the Juvenile Chapter Book section of our library. They have committed to a monthly cleaning of the shelves, straightening the books, updating the displays and generally making the whole section pretty.
Here they are working hard on January 8, 2011.

Pajama Story Time
So, yesterday was a bit problematic.............................
Back by popular demand, we were anticipating a big turn out for our second Pajama Story Time However the weather was against us. The snow fell all day, and the roads became slicker and slicker. But 5 brave families came in their pajamas and we had a great time. "Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed" all got names..........Cameron, Emerson, Marin, Arianna and Molly.
I wish I had pictures to post, but my camera battery died. Like I said earlier, the day was a bit problematic.
I'll keep you posted on our next pajama gathering. They are lots of fun, no matter how many show up!!!!!
