We are continuing to have a great turn out and great fun with our Wednesday after school movie and activity! Our regular story times are also going well, but there is always room for more.
There will be no after school program next Wednesday, as there is only a half day of school. But the following week promises to be quite busy here. Mark your calendars:
We are having a special Columbus Day program to give you and the kids something to do on their day off. Wildlife Defenders has a new fall show featuring a unique line-up of animals: "How do animals protect themselves?" It will include a new line-up of animals, including an African crested porcupine, a dwarf mongoose, a toucan and others. That will be Monday, October 13 at 1:00 p.m. in the Town Hall.
On Friday, October 17, we will host Amazing Spiders!,
at 3:30 p.m. also at the Town Hall. You will see live tarantulas and
find out interesting facts about creepy, crawly spiders and be amazed as
someone from the audience is transformed into an arachnid!
And we will start a trio of Halloween movies after school on Wednesday, October 15, with Spooky Buddies. In a race against a no good hound, the Buddies and their new friends,
Pip, Zelda, Rodney, and Skip, must stop Warwick the Warlock and save the
world from his dastardly deeds. Rated G, 88 minutes.
All this, and our semi-annual book sale, too! October 16, 17 & 18, regular library hours.
