2nd Week of Fizz Boom Read!

We are continuing the fun................
Our annual Bridge Building class thanks to Phil Klingler, where bridges were made, both large and small

and "Balloon Crazy" where some of us learned to make balloon dogs, and others built a house!

Starting the Summer

We have begun having fun at the library with the start of "Fizz Boom Read"!!
Lots of kids for reading programs, lots of dinky prizes given out and lots of laughs with Bongo Joe's Science of Sound and Rhythm.

We also sent a group out for our annual geocaching trek.

KIDSOUTANDABOUT

Last week KidsOutAndAbout launched their annual survey of the top 20 things to do in Rochester.  In 2011, “My Local Library” ranked #6 in the list. But in 2012 and 2013, the libraries were #8 . Now, being in the Top 10 is awesome. But all of the commercial establishments have taken to social media already to get out the vote. So let's give a libraries a big "shout out"!  Take this survey vote for your local library as the #1 place to take kids:

Tot Spot Visits

What a fun day!!
Two classes from The Tot Spot came to visit us this morning for stories, a tour of the library and see what we are all about.  Normally I visit them, so it was great to show the kids what the library is all about!!

Fun with Peeps

We have had so much fun with our Peep Contest!  The entries have been fantastic!!
On Wednesday people were welcome to come in and use the libraries supplies to make peep dioramas, and boy, did everyone have a great time!

Come into the library and see all of the entries.

The winner will be announced next week

National Library Week and Peeps

 “Peep” in the Macedon Public Library and celebrate National Library Week April 13 – 19. 

Build a literary peep diorama Wednesday, April 16, 10AM to 8PM with supplies and Peeps provided by the library or bring in a completed Peep scene by April 18^th.   

The Wacky Wednesday kids had fun making their own "Story Peep" entry.
